Alex Tallon took part in Moldovan Lawyers’ Day.

Lawyers’ Day is traditionally celebrated on 9 September in Moldova.

Alex Tallon, First Vice-President of the CCBE, was invited to take part in the event organised for the occasion by the Bar Association of the Republic of Moldova.

During this international conference, Alex Tallon’s speech focused on key issues relating to the legal profession, such as the independence of lawyers, the Convention on the Protection of the Legal Profession, the protection of professional confidentiality, access to justice, and solidarity amongst bar associations.

This participation highlights the importance of international discussion regarding the developments and challenges faced by lawyers around the world.
